Potato Chaat


Samosa leaves cut in strips and deep fried
1/2 kg diced and boiled potatoes
Handful of curry leaves
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup tamarind paste
2 green chilies chopped for garnish
1 spring onion chopped


Heat oil and add curry leaves and mustard seeds and stir till it crackles. Add garlic, chili flakes, cumin, chaat masala, and sugar. Cook the spices for 3 minutes. Add potatoes and tamarind paste. Cook for 5 minutes and serve on a platter. Garnish with green chillies, spring onions and fried samosas strips
